The Institute for Interactive System (ISy) at the Lübeck University of Technology will be offering free online German courses on its "Future Learn Lab" learning platform from December 1, 2021. The offer of the "Integration" project is aimed at refugees who are interested in studying at the TH Lübeck or other universities and still need the necessary language certificate for this.
"Language certificates are the biggest challenge for refugees when applying for a university place. That's why we want to support them with our German courses precisely in this regard," says Stefanie Bock (Project Manager Integration).
In the courses, participants are explicitly prepared for the telc C1 Hochschule or TestDaF exams. They can be taken as a self-study program with videos and interactive exercises to familiarize themselves with the exam requirements. For more in-depth preparation, there will be additional group support in the form of online video conferencing and forum moderation.
A very good knowledge of German at B2 level is recommended for the course "Fit fürs Studium - Deutsch 1" or at C1 level for entry into the advanced course "Fit fürs Studium - Deutsch 2".
Registration for the courses is easy and free of charge at www.futurelearnlab.de/integration. Here, participants can also find other interesting courses in various fields of knowledge.
The courses offered by the Integration Project at the TH Lübeck are supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the State of Schleswig-Holstein.
