Summer School
International Summer School 2025
Join our international summer school from July 21st to July 30th 2025 on the topic “Engineering Sustainability in the AI World” and experience all aspects of studying at TH Lübeck!
Interdisciplinary courses will be taught in English and are designed to challenge and inspire you. Our program also includes cultural excursions, social events as well as opportunities to explore the city of Lübeck and the surrounding areas. You will have the chance to meet and network with regional companies and other students from all over the world.

We are pleased that you interested in our summer school and are looking forward to welcoming you at TH Lübeck. Registrations for the Summer School are possible from now until May 6, 2025.

Note: We do not require proof of your English proficiency level. However, we recommend that you have at least a B2 level of English proficiency to ensure that you can follow the lectures.
What are the next steps?
1. We will confirm that your application has been received and review your documents.
2. We will send out the acceptance letters via email, so please check your emails frequently. If you have been accepted, we kindly ask you to send us a binding confirmation stating that you will be attending the summer school.
3. Make sure to book your accommodation on time. We recommend staying at Ibis Hotel or B&B Hotel. Both hotels are located not far from the train station in Lübeck which is nearby Lübeck's old town. The central location allows you to easily walk to all the sights in Lübeck. You will stay in shared rooms (2 bed-rooms) with other students participating in our summer school.
Hotel rates:
IBIS Hotel: Prices for a 2-bed-room are 68,00 € per person/night. Breakfast is not included, it will be offered for 18,00 Euro per day.
B&B Hotel: Prices for a 2-bed-room are 62,40 € per person/night incl. breakfast.
Rooms are available from July 20th to August 6th, depending on your arrival date. For reservation please contact the hotel directly.
The rooms are reserved under the code “PM@THL”. Please mention the code in your reservation request. The payment will be due upon arrival at the youth hostel.
Attention: Rooms are only reserved until May 20th! We are not able to provide you with any accommodation past that date and you will have to take care of an accommodation on your own.

4. After you have been accepted by TH Lübeck and have bindingly confirmed your spot, you will need to pay a participation fee in the amount of 225 € after receiving the invoice. This fee includes all social activities, company visits, a welcome breakfast, last evenings BBQ as well as courses and study materials. Personal expenses, such as meals, accommodation, travel costs (arrival/departure and on site) or insurance are not included in the fee. We advise you to take care of your travel arrangements such as flights, insurance, visa etc. as soon as possible afterwards.
5. We will provide you with all the necessary information for your stay in Lübeck in advance and looking forward to you.
