Say yes to new Adventures

Welcome

Our world is becoming more and more interconnected. International exchange is part of everyday life for many people today, whether in their private or professional lives. Here at Technische Hochschule Lübeck (TH Lübeck), we want to actively promote this networking. We cordially invite foreign students to come to our campus in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

We offer you the opportunity to start your Bachelor or Master Program or to come to us for a guest semester. Our team at the International Office will be happy to answer any questions: incomings(at)th-luebeck.de

1. Practice-oriented Education
All professors at TH Lübeck have experience working outside of academia in the private sector, they can provide you with hands-on experience during your studies and prepare you for a promising career.

2. Attractive City & Region
Lübeck has a lot to offer. The Baltic Sea is very close and you can you can choose from a wide range of cultural and sport activities. If this is not enough for you, Hamburg is less than an hour away.

3. No Tuition Fees
In Germany there are no tuition fees in many places – Lübeck is one of them. This means that you can study at the TH Lübeck without having to pay for tuition. The only fee is for the semester ticket and administrative fees – this is currently less than 300 Euros for the whole semester.

Mechanical Engineering

The three-semester master‘s program in Mechanical Engineering builds on a seven-semester bachelor‘s program in mechanical engineering. A special feature is the consistent international orientation. The language of instruction is English throughout the whole master’s program. The study program can be carried out at foreign partner universities on a semester-by-semester basis (International Design Engineer).

Having the opportunity to immerse myself in an international atmosphere while studying in an industry-focused program is rare – especially for engineering fields. I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Medical Microtechnology

Shape the future of health technology and study in two countries. The German-Danish program offers the opportunity to combine the fields of health, engineering and life sciences. In the program, which is unique in Germany, students learn the fundamentals of medical and microtechnology in practice and theory. In an environment of science, industry and clinics, they develop the therapeutic options of tomorrow.

Water Engineering

The international master‘s program in Water Engineering is a modern course of study with a focus on water engineering as a subfield of civil and environmental engineering. For example, students learn the hydraulic dimensioning and planning of hydropower plants for the generation of renewable energy. Sustainable water supply and water treatment as well as integrated flood protection are also taught.

I like the fact that the program covers diverse aspects of water engineering. The professors are very approachable and willing to answer questions in and outside of class. It is never a problem to just stop-by in their offices.
