Interests

From January 1, 2020, to March 31, 2026, I worked and conducted research as a research project associate in the field of edge and cloud systems. My work focused on the development, programming, and analysis of distributed sensor and communication systems within the PASBADIA, KI Transfer Hub, O5G-N-IOT, and PRECISE projects. An integral part of this work was the deployment, operation, and administration of virtualized IT environments for application, communication, and data infrastructures to investigate strategies for the distribution of data and algorithms for their AI-based processing. To this end, I operated, among other things, an AI platform for large language models, including middleware for data distribution as well as databases and vector stores. Another area of interest for me was knowledge transfer, which I enjoyed greatly in my teaching role in the “Computer Networks” course. Here, I taught students how to use Cisco routers and switches to set up wired LANs and wireless WLAN networks.
