I chose this Master‘s program because of its emphasis on hands-on learning, encouraging us to utilize the labs for innovative projects and providing assignments that spark our creativity.

Valerie

Our Mechanical Engineering program in Lübeck is characterized by its broad engineering content, practice-integrated projects and a high degree of flexibility in the choice of electives. A special aspect of our degree program is its international orientation.

Based on a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, the Master's program deepens and expands the knowledge and skills already acquired in engineering.

Our classes place a special focus on innovative solutions, sustainability and digitalization. Our wide range of electives offer students various course selections based on their professional focus. Therefore, we offer you the opportunity to study abroad at our partner universities (International Design Engineer).

What can you expect?

We offer an internationally focused, future- and application-oriented course of study with excellent supervision. You will benefit from small study groups and close contact to our professors. You will develop solutions for challenging tasks both on your own and as part of a team.

In our program it is of great importance to us, that you determine the profile of your studies yourself. Thus, you can focus on your own interests through an individual combination of compulsory elective modules.

In-depth scientific engineering studies with a high level of practical content and close networking with industry are a natural part of our study program. In addition, we will teach you important key qualifications in the fields of business and management. With this, you will be well prepared for your professional career.

From the first semester onwards all courses are taught in English, ensuring that you will able to communicate confidently in a global working environment.
