„Another World Is Possible“: Fridays For Future - since 2018 students around the world have been demonstrating for faster action on climate change and for compliance with the Paris Climate Agreement. Students studying Sustainable Building Technology ensure that future buildings are built resource-friendly and environmentally sustainable. They are fascinated by sustainable buildings, interested in natural sciences and enjoy mathematics. At TH Lübeck, they are trained to become team-oriented engineers with a wide range of career opportunities. Whether in engineering offices, companies or public administrations - our graduates plan, construct and operate buildings with an eye for the global goals of sustainable development and a focus on climate protection. Students work closely with architects and professional planners during their studies and learn how to optimize building technology with regard to ecological and economic aspects. As engineers, they ask questions such as: which interactions exist between the shell and the structure of the building? Or: what are the needs of the occupants of the buildings?

Target Group:	Technically and mathematically talented first-year students who enjoy science, sustainability (with a focus on buildings), and communication.
Internship:	The Bachelor's degree program requires a pre-study internship. The pre-study internship must amount to at least 8 working weeks and should be completed, if possible, prior to the start of the studies. In addition, the 7th semester must include a work placement of at least 12 weeks. Details are specified by the internship guideline.
