International Experience – Right Here on Campus
International experience at TH Lübeck is not limited to semesters abroad. We bring the world directly to our campus—into our lecture halls, laboratories, projects, and student life. Our goal is to make international exposure accessible to all students, regardless of their mobility or personal background.
International Tracks and English-Taught Master’s Programs
Through the newly designed International Tracks, new English-language modules and internationally oriented specializations have been integrated into our Bachelor’s programs. TH Lübeck has also offered international perspectives at the Master’s level for many years: our international Master’s programs are taught entirely in English. This ensures that global thinking becomes a natural part of your studies—practical, interdisciplinary, and embedded in a modern, international learning environment.
Intercultural Encounters and International Projects
Beyond the classroom, a variety of projects strengthen direct intercultural exchange. The Buddy Program connects students from different cultures, while international Summer Schools, digital collaborations, and joint teaching projects with universities worldwide open new perspectives right here on our campus.
Digital International Learning Spaces
Internationally focused digital teaching and research spaces are becoming increasingly important. Virtual international classrooms, collaborative online projects, and modern communication tools enable global cooperation in real time. Many of these formats are hosted via THLx, our virtual exchange platform. At the same time, international challenges find their way into research and practical projects—ranging from sustainable solutions to AI-driven innovations.
Support from the International Office
The International Office provides central support, offering everything from welcome events and personal advising to networking opportunities with our international partners. This is a space where international students can arrive, build connections, and shape their future alongside their peers from Lübeck.
